Maybe a PCNA employee/executive car?

Warranty started June 30, 2015. That's the last day of the second quarter.

So maybe it sat for 2 months trying to sell (does that even happen on a GTS, a silver one none the less) than someone at the dealer or PCNA drove it for 2 years and now its for sale???

Folks.... Please take the extra effort to post some info about a car you think is HFS, not just a link that could go stale at any moment.

Maybe year, model and asking price at a minimum?
VIN is awesome! Mileage even better!
Original sticker price and images of the car? You get Rock Star status!

I realize looking up/saving/posting build sheets is a bit more work, but if you can't cut/paste '2015 Porsche 911 Carrera S - $88,000' along with the link, maybe just skip it?

dead links are no fun

+991.1

Quick posts with a link aren't good reading for anyone. Many times guys like to scroll through here and see all the info in a post without a click through unless really interested.

Also skeleton posts don't do anything here for having a nice history of the cars that have been posted.

We are better than that at HFS and that's why it's been a huge success

Most of the PCNA GTS's for sale by larger dealers are/were exactly that

That damn rear spoiler!!! Why??

Seriously, 6 out of 10 ads have that thing up. It's becoming a much worse epidemic lately. I actually avoid posting cars that have it up That and front license plates!

Lol. I will admit I like how it looks on my non-SPASM (but lowered) 991.1, as I have a Vorsteiner lip that sort of "finishes" or "frames" it and makes it look more like an actual spoiler when up. One downside to SPASM cars is that the extra lift on those spoilers show even more of the eye sore underbelly and look more like the "hood" is lifted rather than a spoiler being up.

So users needn't bother contributing if they don't plan on writing a brief term paper on the lead?

Correct

A lazy link post isn't worth our time here. Never saw a decent car with one anyway. If you can't take 5min for a decent post, go argue PDK vs. Manual somewhere.

This isn't amateur hour here. It's the big leagues.

Even Lime Gold gets proper posts. If that Lemon can get one, any car can.

year/model/asking price/mileage. Did you write a lot of four word term papers?

I try and put some effort into any listing I put up, with original price, build sheet, pictures, and what I like about the build, but just asking that at least a bare minimum of information is included.

Go look at the 997 hot deals thread... Go back a few months or more and try and get a sense of how the market might have changed. Not easy, because it's post after post of dead links with no further info.

Word up

This is HFS. High standards and high # of lurkers and followers. Like 1.5 MILLION views and growing daily since inception. Why?? Because of the CONTENT and entertainment. Rennlist should LOVE US here.

This is how we've done it since day ONE and have gotten better at it (speaking for myself). We don't do things half ***. Anyway, look at posts by the top dogs here and duplicate. Simple formula. I've leaned and invented my own format personally and have tried improving over time.

Later guys and happy hunting!!

Trust me guys, the work we put in will be very useful and much appreciated in the future.

Having a resource like this for the 991.1 is very valuable and will be a great place for enthusiasts to research and track this great model. We've seen many of these cars flip already, and will be very helpful to guys knowing the history of a car they may have in the future.

This is the Smithsonian of 991.1's

Geez, you've made the Lime Gold car a celebrity here.

Not sure. Worth looking into. Nice build, nice price, and CPO. If I were to see it in person, I'd have a pretty good feel of how well it's been taken care of or not!

Not sure if this one has been posted before, if so, they didn't list the VIN

Budget 991 @ $56K.

2013 Carrera (base)
Basalt black over black partial leather
50K miles.
$56K Ask
$100K Sticker
Clean carfax, 2 owner

PDK, Sport Chrono, Sport Design paddle shift, Bose, 14-ways...

Just a 350HP base, and higher miles, but at 997.2 pricing... And with PDK/SC/Paddles, I'm sure plenty of fun! Couple it with the carmax warranty for a few K and drive it another 50K miles in the next couple of years without having to put much into it.

Looks pretty clean for a Carmax car, but sometimes they are a bit beat. Someone local should check it out!
