Any Rennlister feel like looking at a car in Memphis? I was planning on driving up tomorrow, but got shamed for not going to a cousin's wedding.
Is PASM Sport suspension an option on the 991.1, or did it come standard on all models?
I heard it is standard, but not sure when that was implemented. Only with the 991.2?

I think you are confusing the terms PASM (base PASM) and SPASM (that is Sport PASM). For the base 991.1, PASM is optional (I am not sure if SPASM is even available). For the 991.1S, PASM is standard and SPASM is optional.
In the 991.2, PASM is now standard in the base car.

PASM & Sport-PASM (SPASM)
991.1
Base model: PASM is optional as is Sport-PASM.
S models: PASM standard on all coupes, cabs, and Targas.
Sport-PASM optional on S/4S/GTS coupes only. Not available on Cabs and Targas.
PASM is 10mm lower than base model height
Sport-PASM is an additional 10mm lower than PASM.
So ..... Sport-PASM is 20mm lower than a base 991.1 Carrera WITHOUT the PASM option.
Side notes:
Sport-PASM is referred to as SPASM on the forum here.
PASM is now standard on base model 991.2's where was an option on 991.1's.

Pretty much recaps the other responses:
991.1
Base model: PASM is optional. No Sport-PASM option
S models: PASM standard on all coupes, cabs, and Targas.
Sport-PASM optional on S coupes only. Not available on Cabs and Targas.
PASM is 5mm lower than base model height
Sport-PASM is an additional 5mm lower than PASM.
So ..... Sport-PASM is 10mm lower than a base 991.1 Carrera WITHOUT the PASM option.

You're too much On it later. Needs a good half hour or 45 minutes of concentrated thoughts with no interruptions. Now you have all this pressure on me!

Thanks for the detailed explanation of PASM vs. SPASM on the 991.1
I am looking for a 991.1 C2S Cabriolet. Now I know why none ever come with SPASM, but at least PASM was included in the 'S'.
Perfect!
Thanks!
