Also, am I wrong in thinking that a decently priced car will go before it's first 30 days? They've even Ebay'd it and had no takers.
I don't think there's much of a delta. Just saying, sometimes they're a little more flexible in price depending on time of year.

Why this car has taken this long to sell is because of the interior color. I know many like it, but it's a harder sell. Pushing 30 days isn't a big deal, not like it's been three months.

This exact color combination and build isn't that common. If someone likes it, I'd go for it.

Noted.

I'm starting to see patterns in pricing and options, but still have a long ways to go before I understand the nature of the beast in this "market".

Has anyone found a good way to keep light interiors free of denim color transfer?

I agree - I thought that price was nuts. It's a freaking '13 with a rather low MSRP!

My advice to anyone, don't lose a car over $1000-$2000 if it's that build you've been looking a long time for. You never know when or how long the next one will take to come by and at what price.

I will swing by Reeves and take an in-depth look with detailed pictures if anyone would like. I'm always looking for an excuse to go look at Porsches.

Yes please.

I'll PM you my email and we can chat there. I likely wont be in Florida for a while again, so that would be supremely helpful.

Sometimes I don't get you guys. I know a dollar saved is a dollar earned, but we aren't shopping for the best price on unleaded regular here. Where is the passion? If I had been looking a while and saw "the car", a few $1000 wouldn't stop me. Heck, we're talking about 3% for chrissake!

Very nice car (the Tampa/Reeves one) IMO. Wish I were ready.

^^^ and then they come back here, claiming surprise that the car has been sold. How many times have I read about the 991.1 that got away. Guys, if you think this is the normal market where you can hold out on a "correctly" priced car in the hopes that a dealer will bargain down bc it sat on the lot for awhile...think again. They know you know they know, just by the number of clicks on a particular webpage

[edit: oops, I meant as a follow up to Rockhouse66's comment]

let's not exaggerate either, the car looks gorgeous and clean on the pictures, but it is a 13S with 12k miles priced a bit on the high side, it should be easy to get a 13 or 14 S for less money in weeks (a few months tops), so unless it is the "absolute perfection" for one buyer or someone really needs the car now (lease expiration, etc.) , there will be many more to come...

Having said that, it is a color combo I would be happy with, and assuming it has been CPO'd recently and tires, brakes, etc, are like new, if I were looking I would definitely be creative trying to make a deal work here... add PES and Sport Design mirrors for 82k?

I think HFS is geared more for someone like me. I looked for a year before I bought my 2012.5 S Cab back in January. I found this thread the next week. How's that for timing?
I had a list of must haves and nice to haves but was looking for the best deal. I didn't really care about color combo as long as it wasn't putrid. I wanted an S Cab with 7MT and SC. Mainly the things you can't add after. I wasn't even looking for super low mileage. I found mine with an original list of $120k and got it for $68k with only 11,900 miles. No CPO though. It was at a Cadillac dealer. The best thing was it was only 90 miles away. I pounced. This is not a good thread for unicorn hunters and second guessers (although it has had me second guessing at times ). I plan to use it if I ever want to change out.

I have come to this conclusion as well and it is nice to hear it from others. I am wanting to buy a car listed on auto trader and I have emailed twice, called twice and no answer or reply. Maybe the car is sold? At this point I feel I just need closure. Kind of bummed out about it. People say, something will come along, I say BS! I want a manual cab under 70K. Good luck with that. Here is the car if anyone knows the person. I sort of doubt it, but you never know.
