Hi Amelen,
Saw your comments about discounts on Taycans back in May. I'm heading down the path with a sales guy at Porsche Warwick (Rhode Island). I'm moving toward putting in an order for a new build next week and want to make sure I'm getting good pricing. I saw your comment about 2-4% discount to MSRP and intros to GMs. I'm not looking to make a fuss, but curious if you have any more thoughts on this specific situation. I've looked around to buy what I want on a lot and haven't found anything close enough to my spec.
Hi Alex,
Congrats on your Taycan. Looks amazing and I hope you’ve been enjoying it! I saw your post in the Panamera thread with your generous offer to help folks who want to put in a custom build order. I live in Southern California and looking to put an order for a ‘21 Panamera 4S E-Hybrid. I am willing to order with an out-state-dealer and could just have it delivered through the LA Porsche Experience Center (or some other way perhaps). I’ve talked to a couple dealers near me and they’ve initially offered 2% discount off MSRP but I haven’t started negotiating (my guess is that I may get a bit more out of them). But I was wondering if you have any advice or any referrals to any other GMs? This will be my first Porsche (hopefully of many to come) and am very excited. Thanks so much!
update: I actually ordered one and got a great discount from my local dealer. Thanks!
Hi amelen,
Saw your post about Taycan discounts. I’m in boston and actually do business with a few Porsche dealers around the country: Holman, Bob Moore, Don Flow and a few others. Prime (Boston) quoted Msrp on a new build. I know the gm at herb chambers, but have had success in the past ordering out of state (lower doc fees) and shipping here. Wasn’t sure if you had any suggestions. Sounds like getting 7-9% plus govt incentives on new build would be very good?
Hi. I just placed an order for a base Taycan here in the Dallas area through Porsche Grapevine. My freeze date is still 35 days away. Do you know of any dealerships nearby that offer any discounts off the car? Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!
