Nice!

Boy, the HFS crew is everywhere. Really helpful to offer help to a potential buyer. Thanks!

If anyone would like me to check out car for them, I will be dropping my 5 series off Sunday for service and give give it a look...

PASM sport is an option I would like to have as well, but I could settle for no PASM sport because I could get lowering springs and front lips to get the same look.

Again, PASM is standard on the S models. Sport PASM (SPASM) is optional but actually not all that common. Do you plan on tracking the car often? If not, the standard PASM is probably fine (or even preferred) unless you don't mind a pretty stiff ride.

On non-S models that don't come standard with PASM, not having the PASM option is a bit of a deal breaker. Porsche has done a great job with the PASM system of making a car that is comfortable for highway, daily driving, poor roads but at the touch of a button tightens up for spirited driving. SPASM notches up both the comfort and sport settings to be stiffer in either position.

^^^ nice explanation. Also to add, SPASM is 10mm lower than PASM. The reduced ride height and less wheel gap is nice.

This always makes me smile - I challenge anyone on this board to spot a 10mm ride height difference. Even us nerds are going to have a pretty low success rate on spotting this.

So far the only person I know who can tell the difference at a glance is my driveway.

I can spot it on cars on the lot. An almost 1/2" (.394" actual) wheel gap difference is significant.
