^^ welcome W0ggy. Having a hard time following the long CarFax cut/paste. Have a link? MSRP? With almost 40K miles and no CPO, it looks expensive to me. You can find a comparable with less than half the miles. MSRP is prob around $100K
Here is the CarFax. I'll edit my previous post to include it there as well. Sorry about the cut/paste lol. MSRP was $93,620. I negotiated the price down to 60 including enclosed delivery from FL to CA. But sounds like it still may be on the expensive side?
W0ggy. Not sure about all the visits. From my search, you can do better. For around the same price you can find half the miles or less and a CPO. My take on it. I'd pass.
Thanks STG991. Appreciate the input. I will definitely pass on this one. I'm looking for one in Guards Red- I'll keep the search going.
Good call. See my listings. You get the idea. The Guards Red one I posted looks nice! Too many low mileage 991's out there. No reason to buy one with super high miles. Many great deals in the 20K and under range.
With high miles comes wear, and the cosmetics take a toll too.
Dude, that last post is a winner. I'll contact them now. Thanks!!
Nice That's how we help guys out here. I have a radar that knows a good deal when I see it with having looked at 1000's of cars. No accountant type college exercise equations that don't deal with current market rates and supply/demand. Once you've looked at so many cars, it's easy to spot a fair deal or not and what the current marketplace is like. It's second nature now for me. Literally takes a minute or two.
Also..
Have them transfer it to their Porsche dealer and CPO it if you're interested in a longer warranty. Up to you. Retail price around $3K. Not sure if they'd need to replace the rear tires to meet CPO requirements.
Paint to sample colors have a near cult like following. Either you're on board or not. Totally a personal choice like Manual vs. PDK. I love some of the great blues and greens. Classic Porsche colors from the 70's, etc. Most of them are NOT metallic colors.
We Porsche owners don't all fall into a certain "demographic" and all think alike. We are as diverse as the color cars we prefer and all the options we love. We come in all shapes, sizes, ages, gender, backgrounds, and locations.
I've realized that the 991.1 is such a desirable model, that I've opened the search gates to all variants.
The Base Carrera has a certain special appeal and offers a great price point at the current time. Not everybody has to spend $80K+ to live the dream. At around $60K, the base Carrera is a great entry point for 911 fans. Expect to see all variants of the 991.1 featured if they meet the HFS criteria.
So to celebrate the return and new/improved version of Hot for Sale, I'm nominating a mascot. Introducing Germania!
Just like Ty's Beanie Babies ... Hot for Sale ... easily imitated, hard to duplicate.
Nice

I am looking for the S...I drove the base model and did not like it....
Hey, choices is what it's all about. C, C4, C2S, C4S, GTS, Targa, etc ...Coupe, Cab, PDK, Manual, SPASM, PASM, 4/14/18 ways, Bose, or Burmester! All in white, black, red, silver, blue, and more. 1,000,000++++ variations.
Looking for an S? An S you will find. There have been many guys here in your shoes that have succeeded in their search and closing the deal. Keep searching, be patient, and don't let "the one" get away when you find it.
