Nice find! 87K "internet price".

Like I mentioned, 85K is possible.

Great car...everything but the engine for a very S like car. I like the yellow one from earlier. If only I had the ***** for flying through traffic in a yellow car.

I am looking for a sub-$80k (the lower the better) base 991 Carrera so if you find any good ones keep me posted. Not picky on colors.

Must haves:
Sport exhaust
Ventilated seats
Low miles (preferably under 10k)

If Manual then must have Sport Chrono with rev-matching
If PDK then must have Sport Design steering wheel (gotta have paddle shifters)

Let me start by saying I'm not "picking on you" at all -- really don't mean to be, but it could come off that way, this being the internet and all.

But I truly find it interesting that you are open to either manual or PDK. Color, sure, I can see not being picky about color (although if you were presented with the Mahogany/Beige Cayman I had for a loaner last week you might rethink that! ). But the transmission choice seems to be such an integral part of the experience that not having a preference strikes me as pretty unusual.

If you don't mind sharing, is it because:

a) you've had both, love both, and truly don't care which?
b) have had neither (at least in 991 flavor) and figure both must be good or they wouldn't be in a 911?
c) price is such a high motivation that you'll take any low-miles 991 at the right price, even though you really prefer one type of trans over the other?

Just curious. Thanks!

I have driven both in a 991 but have not owned a 991. I have had some decent wheel time in a PDK Cayman S as well.

I know manual transmissions since all the Porsches I have owned to this point have been of that type. But I see the appeal of PDK. Riding with Cass Whitehead on the track in a PDK car really changed my perception.

So if you tell me I have to choose one or the other, then my default would be manual since that is what I know.

Honestly if this was still Tiptronic we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Now I want to hear more about Mahogany. I have never seen in person but I tend to lean towards less common colors.

I'm out of town right now, but am considering trading in my 2014 911 base that I've lovingly cared for since Feb 2014. It has 8,500 miles and is a garage queen. I'll be offline for a few days, but able to post more early next week.

Iridium Silver
PDHLS
Heated/Ventilated Seats
Paddle Shifters
Bose
Full Bra
Legal Window Tint
Full Paint Correction
20" Wheels

I'm looking for the same car, but in S trim.

Unfortunately not! Another member just picked this one up. If he ever wants to sell, I am sure there will be a line of us Rennlisters waiting.

Yeah, it was brown as dirt. The pic was at 6:30am, sun wasn't up yet and it bled all the brown out of the picture.

Well, I'll admit that if you're going for 1974 redux that would be hard to beat. But to my eye, that's the worst of everything offered in the 911 line: Targa, brown, Cognac.

But hey! That's why they offer 25 varieties.
