Default Hot for sale pick of the week!!

Good lesson to be learned on this white 4S

Buy it, drive it for 5K miles this summer, trade it in this Fall. You're lucky if the dealer will give you 95K back for it on a trade. An expensive summer of driving! A 40K plus hit. You'll see it on the lot for 105-110K then!

All has been fairly quiet on the pre-owned front. Hopefully we'll see some nice ones this week.

Back to cars under 100K or so

Absolutely love it but 1yr too soon. Have a Cayenne S, looking to pick up a 911 with Aerokit when my wife's Lexus lease is up. Great, unique color and optioned out 3.4 car

If that was an S I would go trade my 14 for it. Love the color myself too.

Default Mexico Blue!

Hi, everyone! I'm brand new to Rennlist and stumbled across this thread AFTER I had purchased the Mexico Blue 911 on the last couple of pages. I was so shocked to see it make the list and happy to hear the positive comments about the car.

I first seriously looked at the car a couple of months ago. During my last minute looking at the car back then, a couple arrived in their 2013 C2S to peruse the lot. I found out later that night that they purchased the Mexico Blue 911.

The dealer called me a few weeks ago to let me know that the buyer returned the car to trade for a 2015 C2S. I guess they either got scared about the color or decided they needed an S. It seemed like a sign that the car was supposed to be mine. We started serious negotiations and I signed the paperwork ten days ago.

This is my first 911 although I did buy my first non-911 Porsche (2012 Cayenne base) for my wife a couple of months ago. I have always wanted to own a 911 and have finally fulfilled that dream!

Awesome! Good to see something on this thread bought by a fellow Rennlister. It's a very nice car! And I agree the Mexico Blue is really either you'll love it in first sight or you really don't. I like it because you don't see many, if any, on the road.

Leo:

We have been following this particular 'Mexico Blue' 991 Carrera here at Rennlist for a very long time...as I recently pm STG991 a while ago when
he was asking me about the color of the car at P of North Scottsdale.

A) Custom ordered at Michigan dealer by a customer who later backed out. This is how this car first came to our attention on 4/06/2014:

PTS Mexico Blue Buyer Flaked On Dealer

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8087...on-dealer.html

B) I included this beautiful 'Mexico Blue' Carrera on the list of available PTS 991's that I posted on 7/05/2014.

PTS 911 That Are Currently Available At US Dealers

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8231...s-dealers.html

C) The Michigan dealer (Porsche of Farmington Hills), MI couldn't sell it so they ended up trading/selling at wholesale to Penske's Porsche dealership
in North Scottsdale. We reported that also in Rennlist a while back too...

Post 95 & 107

We are very pleased that this beautiful 'Mexico Blue' Carrera ended up
in the hands of a Rennlister that frequents this forum. Congratulations
and welcome to the 'exclusive' PTS club at Porsche!

Saludos,
