If it sits a couple months, they might drop it a little. Sometimes, if you find the right car it's not worth losing it for 1-3K in my opinion.
I haven't seen a red one optioned like this before. A nice package.
Anyway, on to the next one soon! Good looking out.
They just emailed to let me know it's now certified at that price. Didn't have to wait long . I just ponied up for the spyder, so I'm out of the market. Someone grab this beauty up!

Sweet, sweet Carrera S for that price. I only stop in here every few weeks to torture myself.
I swear, if I hadn't been set on a GTS, and hadn't been set on a black/garnet interior, no way I could pass up some of these deals. Great finds, STG!
99K (California over priced) I'd love it at 92K or so. Depends on the original sticker. Mileage isn't bad, but high for a 99K asking price. California like I said!

Just because I like numbers and think my next 911 will be a used purchase (if I don't win the 60th CC or GT4 !!), what would be some good estimates of the value of this car after another 5 years?
Any published studies with depreciation curves, although there would have to be a significant adjust for the lack of value of certain options I guess.
Secondary question, how does a Porsche CPO work in comparison to original warranty? How many years extra and miles limited to?

Porsche Approved Certified Pre-Owned Warranty will take effect for an addition 2 years or up to 100,000 cumulative miles whichever occurs first. This starts after your original warranty expires. It's a no-brainer. One huge benefit Porsche dealers can offer.
As far as depreciation goes, for this car, expect to lose like 9K the first year, and maybe another 7-8K the second. Each subsequent year, it will be even less. As you can see, the downside is so much less compared to buying new.
As you see with some of these new ones, the first year hit is usually 20K minimum. At 2-3 years you're out 30K+

All dependent on options, demand, etc..
Thanks. It is compelling. Wonder if any GTSs will be out there in a year or so. Maybe the GTS will have put more pressure on the C2S's used value.

Of course there will be some for sale. There always is in whatever model there is (except so many are in Canada!! Ha ha). Their numbers aren't as big as the S's though. The S's have been around since 2012.5
I don't think the GTS will affect S values. If anything, the GTS values will be affected by all the S's out there.
The Turbo engines are coming out with the facelift too, so NA GTS's will be 2015/2016 only. Will be a great car to hold on to. Last of the "drivers" street 911's. Manual transmission will be a huge bonus too. I don't recall even seeing any PDK GTS's posted here!
RIP naturally aspirated motors. Although will live a bit longer in the GT cars, and there's always preowned!!!
