Just having fun guys, but in all seriousness you have to look at the big picture and be flexible. HFS lesson #2
The above posted car will surely appeal to someone here. That's a given.

I’ve been lurking this thread while on a search for a 991.1 GTS but the prices are high enough I’m thinking about jumping to a higher mileage 991.1 TT.
This one has me thinking just grab it, mod a few things and save $30K.

Three Wheelin'
Don't forget PDCC and PCCB.. It would be then listed at $85,900
Seems like a very fair price at $77,900; I just don't see many 4S models under $80,000. There was the dark blue/yachting blue/mahogany Aerokit with PCCB's in manual that was for sale last year forever at Greenwich; it sold in Indiana for $75,000 a couple of week ago, and only had 9,000 miles. 2013 4S, high 130's build. But that was a weird car due to the interior. Who even knows why they call it "yachting blue?". I have a "yacht" and there is no blue leather nor mahogany wood to be found. Then again, you can buy a brand new Laser for not much more than the cost of the full leather upgrade, and I can tell you which is more worthwhile to own!

I was helping a relative and found this one still being prepped at Porsche Fresno

18,000 or so miles. I checked the built and has the desirable options. I believe they are asking mid $70k. Very new listing so no pics yet. Nicholas Beesley (nickbeez@cjwautogrp.com ) is the sales guy who usually posts for sale cars here in Rennlist

i looked at the one you mentioned and the lack of pse, interior color combo and lack of spasm made me pass
otherwise awesome car
Agreed. I didn't get my perfect build (if such a thing exists) but I have no regrets. In my experience by the time you find the car you want someone else will have put a deposit on it.

Probably paid $2k +/- more than a true HFS, but that seems beyond the point....

Just replace the VIN, when you paste the URL into the address bar. https://admin.porschedealer.com/repo...AB2A90ES120352

but you will have to close the ad to get a clean printout.

Then modify after purchase by adding PSE, special wheels and sport steering wheel. That is how I understand this.
What is your opinion for necessities that should be purchased initally?
Thanks

Exactly. Why pass on a car that doesn't have PSE or the steering wheel you want when your other boxes have been checked?? Those are east and inexpensive fixes.
Now what are the must haves and necessities?? Varies. Have to do some research and read people's opinions. Everyone here has different options, colors, models, .1 or .2, transmissions, they prefer. Those debates go on everyday on the board and no right/wrong answer. Most guys do their homework and come up with their own wish lists and go from there.
One had to be flexible when buying pre-owned. If you're too picky and have too many unicorn options you want in a car, you risk waiting a long time to find it or never finding it.
Another aspect is price. Having a firm budget is another obstacle. Finding the dream car that is $5K or $10K above what you wanted to spend is another consideration.
No easy task here. Go back and do some reading here. Lots of free info. Those that don't like the search, adventure, and potential savings, go the new car route. This isn't cut out for everyone.
All these cars are unique builds and rarely see two with exact same options. Add high demand and strong resale pricing for .1's, makes the search even tougher especially when have a certain budget in mind.
