Ruins the clean look.
Not to mention shows that someone intended to use the car in poor weather...

Yes. Well, not beige, dual-tone leather pebble gray and agate gray. Which isn't really all that gray...

MJBrid993,

I found your older post where you have more picture of your car. It is really nice.
I like the 2 tone interior. It looks so clean!!

I also find this one on sale,
https://euroclassics.porschedealer.c...15825/info.php

It is Ruby Red. I can't really tell the different between Ruby Red and Amaranth red on my monitor.
I heard Ruby Red is a bit darker, warmer. Too bad the car is not local to me....

can you PM me on which dealer you got your 7% in CA? This will save me sometime in shopping around.

thanks in advance.

Of course, my car is not currently for sale, but who knows?
I want your wiper too! Not the car, just the wiper...

I did a temporary install of a rear wiper on my 996. I didn't like how it looked on the car, so I removed it!

salesperson only gets 10% commission on the sale of the car minus dealer invoice. They can get an additional commission on the back end if they sell ClearBra, wheel/tire insurance etc. So 15% is not going to happen like others have stated.

For point of reference, I ordered a C2 GTS yesterday. Had to fight for 4% below MSRP. Dealer started with $1000 off for "loyalty discount." I asked for 5% ($6800.) We settled on $5500. Which the state will take right back in tax, and then some!

This is incorrect. The total dealer markup on a new Porsche is a fixed 10% - regardless of options.

The one exception being the 918 Spyder- the dealers make a flat $30k.

I believe it's higher, something like 15%....when I ordered my custom 2015 C2 Cab back in April last year I got a discount of 9%...they would not have done it for $1000 markup especially on a custom order
