I think it actually is around 12% - I say around as I think the options have different mark-ups-no pun intended!

I got 4.12% off MSRP for a very lightly optioned 2014 C2S with European Delivery in the Los Angeles area. ED costs the dealer about $3000 even though the sticker shows it as a free option.

ED was worth it IMO. The trip of a lifetime.

BMW gives you a discount. Porsche charges you for it or at least the dealer does. Really irritates me as I really wanted to do an ED.

More or less same here for ED with % off. agree that it was worth every penny. A few grand saved is nothing compared to the memories I have from that trip.

It is 10% margin. More if there are a list of options. It can then be 12% ish. getting more than 5% is good. But can be beat. Just have to know who to call. but with fewer cars coming to NA in the next few years, dealers will start tightening the belts on discounts. China is having a huge effect on NA allocation, and we are feeling it now.

Default Discount / European delivery....

2 Dealers (i in Calif. and 1 in Oregon )refused to discount European delivery car fully optioned to $150 K. Awaiting answer from a third dealer as to any discount.

Reason for previous refusals was that dealers now front the $3K cost of Euro delivery. Surely they must make a profit on a Euro car, no ?!

Anyone here know the logistics of dealer markup on a Euro delivery car ?

Hello Neurotic;
I am engaged in a search for the right deal on a new C4s. I am not getting the response i need from a local dealer in suburban NYC. PA is a fine place for me to buy. Could you please PM or email me info so I can contact the dealer?
It would be a great help!
Thanks,
