If I can get 15% of MSRP, it would be $85k, same as a used one.
I will get a brand new car, instead of a used car with options that I didn't
want.

Is it possible to get 15% off?

What is the best discount you can get?

Will never happen on an order. That's lower than their invoice price. Only possible with a old model off the lot.

I have a rear wiper and love it. Goes real well on the large targa glass.

I avoided the rear wiper like the plague when looking at cars.

Ruins the clean look.

I should be clear, it was not an ordered car, it was sitting on the dealers floor with a giant sign saying $20K Off! They took another $3K off within 5 minutes so I bought it. $100K car for $77K brand new, this was during the global recession, Porsche had a ton of new 911's sitting on dealers lots.

Still, a tremendous deal!!!!! I wonder if, back then, PCNA pulled back order allocations to help move stock. I also think there must have been trunk money available as well. Lucky for you though. I ordered and picked up a 997.1 C2S in February of 2008 and it was painful seeing similar/better cars, within a year, going for a lot less. All's well that ends well I guess.

I am another potential buyer for you, but not for the rear wiper, I actually don't care for them. But you have the color I want. Could not believe they dropped Amaranth after less than a year run and did not replace it with another metallic red.

I've been offered 7% off on my low option 991S build. In fact several in the LA area offered at least 5%.

I know, right? The problem is, most people don't have our good taste. It reminds me of when I was trying to get rid of my Panamera S, in a gorgeous blue metallic (I forget the name of it). It sat at the dealer for 8 months before I bought it, and I remember the salesman telling me (later) that people would see it and say, "OMG, that's a gorgeous car, it is stunning, what a beautiful color, I want one just like it, in silver."

My 911S isn't for sale, but I'm kind of thinking of selling it anyway, to buy a Boxster. Some pictures here of my 2014 with about 4K miles on it.

good to know, I think I'm going to find it tough since ED puts a 4k burden on the dealer (but they apparently get an extra allocation in exchange I believe)

I would hope they wouldn't penalize you for ED. And if they get an extra allocation then they more than make up for it.

Figure a dealer has about a 10% margin on the car and 15% on the options, although the dealer I dealt with claimed it was closer to 9%. A high volume dealer should offer 5% on an order if they feel it is a real sale and you are not just shopping one dealer against another.
If you are a repeat offender buying a new Porsche every few years with a second SUV for your family they should get up to maybe 7%. If they have never dealth with you before around 5% to 6% will probably be the upper limit.
If they have old stock with factory incentives to move it who knows.

Remember though, as we get further into Feb/March delivery dates will start to be May/June right before the 16's arrive. 5% off sticker doesn't seem such a great deal at the end of the model year.
