Here’s a picture of the TPMS that was included on the wheel. I have a 991.2. There’s so many different brands out there, it’s helpful to see what’s on the wheels already.

Default TPS No Worky

I changed wheels on my 991.2, installing the HRE's i originally had on my 991.1. Using the same tps sensors that were working on the 991.1. My 991.2 does not recognize the tps and gave me a fault, indicating service required. 😕
Are the sensors different between the .1 & .2?

you may just need to reprogram the sensor. If you are lucky, dealer or tire store will deflate to below 10psi and reprogram.
if this does not work, remove tire from rim and reprogram, mount tire and balance.

This will not work. The sensor is different on a .1 than a .2.

No both are 433mhz. A .1 is an RDE048 and the .2 is a RDE047.

.1 you can use OE RDE048 or a couple other OE ready TPMS like RDE011 or UVS2000
.2 is an RDE047 but the nice thing about that protocol you can use some less expensive Huf "programmable" TPMS.

You are correct. Strike what I said. This was based on what I was told when I was going to buy a used 991.1 turbo S wheel set for my 991.2 to be used as Winter set.

Also Turbo's are different from Non-Turbo's so be careful.

I went with a Porsche winter wheel set in the end. The Turbo twist wheel set was a direct match, I believe, to the winter wheel set that Porsche build for the C4GTS. Good warning to everyone to check widths and offsets.

Another bump- just put new Michelins and new batteries in my '14 turbo S coupe. Couldn't for the life of me figure out how to get it to learn! RTFM didn't help as usual! Scrolling thru the tire selection did the trick!

thanks this fixed the issue.

You are right on with this approach. This is exactly what I had to do, word for word. And thanks for posting an update with this a·ha moment. The next challenge I faced after the TPMS issue, was configuring the digital dash display. You have probably already figured this out.
