Default 991.2 TPMS Part Numbers...

I just ordered TPMS sensors from Tire Rack, here are the part numbers from the part its self and the box. (In case anyone needs these) Huf RDE047V21 (note the 991.1 TPMS sensors are different!)

And there are plenty of other options that are far less expensive. Not the only part that works for such application.

Do these need to be programed or does the car "learn" them as you drive?

The car does not "program" the sensors. Programmable sensors are programmed in a fixture before mounting in the wheels. They have to be programmed to match your car's requirements. They allow retailers to stock one part for many different cars, as opposed to the pre programmed versions that are already set up for your car from the manufacturer. The Tire Rack parts are pre-programmed for the Porsche and should work immediately after installation.

Yes, and they started working ~10 miles or so after getting everything mounted up. I still don't get why they take so long to initialize.
