C4S PDK Sport Plus Lurch
Ok, I tried to search the forum but I couldn't find this particular topic (correct me if I am wrong please).
I own a 2015 C4S with 1000 miles on it now. I used sport plus for the first time this week (on 3 separate drives). In normal mode and sport mode the PDK is very smooth shifting (except for the occasional 2500rpm jitter which is getting better) and you can't even tell the shift happened. HOWEVER, in Sport Plus when the car gets to the redline (7750rpm) it will shift with a lurch forward, like its rev matching its upshift/hitting the rev limiter for a split second? It just feels funny in comparison with hard driving in the sport mode (very smooth upshifts). This lurch is present at redline in every gear from 1-6 (I know what you're thinking and lets not talk about it) in Sport Plus mode but NOT in sport mode. Is this normal?

Sports Plus mode is ridiculously harsh for street use. You have to be in a aggressive mood to enjoy it because it really slams the car around. The shifts are abrupt the shocks are firmed up and the revs run right up to redline.

Yes!
That's exactly what it's supposed to do. Launch you into the next gear. Manual or auto that's the best part about shifting in SportPlus. Just put your foot all the way into it and leave your foot down when you shift in manual. The car will "lurch" forward like you're being shot out of a gun. Glorious!

This is why I love this forum. Chuck gives me the hilarious answer - watch the Wednesday rap dance btw. And I also get the answers that I was looking for. Thank you guys and girls. Although the lurch - rocket launch into the next gear is harsh - and I currently hate it, I'm sure that I will get used to it. Thanks again
