There was another thread on this. If you haven't found it by a search, I'll see if I can find it later tonight. It was about the Nav-TV kit.

The 2015's come with a back-up camera. Before you go after market did you ask the dealer if it can be retro-fitted to your car? Maybe the back-up sensors are needed as well? Will follow with interest.

Wouldn't it be better to just use the iPhone/Google Earth app?

I have not heard back from dealer on cost of retrofit

Edit: just heard back and says it in NOT possible, that the PCM would have to be replaced.

I have an idea, I own a company that makes UAVs and we use ALL kinds of cameras. There is one system that has a camera that is powered by a 9v battery. I can figure it out on how to get it into the cabin to your phone. I would have to do a bit of research on integrating it on to the PCM.
Anyone interested? I would be less than $500

Yes but really would like it hard wired into PCM without voiding warranty if possible

I'd be interested too. Assume you are talking about wifi if it is going to the phone. Having a self powered easy to install b/u camera would be cool.

That's a bummer that the new backup camera can't be retrofitted. I was hoping that once the '15s were out, that I could get one and plug it into the PCM and it would work. I'm surprised there's not just a software update.
In any case if you really want a backup camera, the Nav-TV one is a good hardwired solution. Looks good in all the videos/pictures I've seen and looks like it works well too. I've mostly seen positive reviews of it
I thought about getting one, but honestly, the car is so small and has such good visibility, that I really don't miss a backup camera...
