The 2015's come with a back-up camera. Before you go after market did you ask the dealer if it can be retro-fitted to your car? Maybe the back-up sensors are needed as well? Will follow with interest.

I have an idea, I own a company that makes UAVs and we use ALL kinds of cameras. There is one system that has a camera that is powered by a 9v battery. I can figure it out on how to get it into the cabin to your phone. I would have to do a bit of research on integrating it on to the PCM.
Anyone interested? I would be less than $500

I'd be interested too. Assume you are talking about wifi if it is going to the phone. Having a self powered easy to install b/u camera would be cool.

That's a bummer that the new backup camera can't be retrofitted. I was hoping that once the '15s were out, that I could get one and plug it into the PCM and it would work. I'm surprised there's not just a software update.
In any case if you really want a backup camera, the Nav-TV one is a good hardwired solution. Looks good in all the videos/pictures I've seen and looks like it works well too. I've mostly seen positive reviews of it
I thought about getting one, but honestly, the car is so small and has such good visibility, that I really don't miss a backup camera...
