hi everyone,
I'm in the process of configuring my first 911, while I'm almost set on the exterior in anthracite brown, I'm still debating between a dual tone interior..
I like both the Black/luxor and Espresso/cognac..
what do you guys think will go better with the AB?
I've seen photos of the latter in AB exterior but not of the black/luxor..
any suggestion is very much appreciated

With Anthracite I'd bias towards Black/luxor. For Mahogany I'd lean more Expresso/cognac. Either way that would give it a bit more contrast and make it a little less monotone. Small difference though. Either way it will look great, you can't go wrong.

Unless you go yachting blue with it.

 

Mine is the same exterior and the espresso/cognac. I think the look great together and I get comments all the time. I also have a brown top(Cab). Make sure if you espresso make sure to get the steering column in leather. It looks bad with the black plastic.

The espresso/cognac is a softer leather and I like the feel better.

 

What, no 'Blutorange' for Budorange? Whatsamatta U?

saw that color somewhere on a sample card , ahah not too fond on red/orangeish tint for my car!

 

I am just pulling your chain. I posted the 'Blutorange/Tangerine' sample over at the 'Custom Ordering' thread. It is one of the most 'historic' & memorable hues of the early 911/912 period! However, the color did not pass a recent feasibility test at Porsche...so it's not available via PTS anyway. 'Anthracite Brown' will look great. Good luck on your build!

Both Espresso and Espresso Cognac will look great with Anthracite Brown Metallic. Unless you just absolutely love black/luxor then either of the Espresso options will be the better choice if only because, as you already noticed, they're the higher quality Natural Leather. $146K? It's none of my business, but if I got up to that number on a C4S (and could afford it), I would add a few $K more and get a TT. No upcharge for metallic paint, it comes with leather interior, turbo wheels, PDK, etc.
You have some options that will run the price up over $160, but I'll bet you could make a fabulous 520HP car for $160 or less. I know I could

I've specced both a TT and a C4S , and I've made a proposal to my dealer, now let's see what would be the difference.

He also pointed me toward a nice '13 C4s he has on the lot with just under 1500Km, sportly specced with the like of PCCB, powerkit S, Sport chrono and espresso leather, Bose ,4 way plus seat, etc. at a very good price.
I've considered going this route but for my total like this car is missing tempostat, bluetooth and MF steering which I really need.
I can pass on MF but do you think both the tempostat and the BT could be installed aftermarket?

If it has the leather interior, it has BT, it comes with the premium package which comes with leather.

 

well don't know really, different country different packages, anyway I'm working with a couple of dealers on a turbo build, I've been offered a pretty good discount on both the c4s and the turbo from one so I think it's just decision time ..

 

Pulled the trigger on the TT, anthracite brown/black-luxor interior with all the amenities except ACC.. don't know why maybe I'll add it in days..
