Any creative places to put your cell phone while driving in your 991? Mine usually sits on the passenger seat, when I am the only one in the car. Looking for ideas.
It is a problem and I also put the thing on the front seat. The side pocket is just a bit small I find. What a problem to have. I think I will just throw the phone away then the problem is solved.
I have a ProClip mount. Does not look as cheap as some say, especially as my phone holder is covered with a soft material. I have a black Griffin USB-lightning that I ran behind the trim from the glove box to the phone mount. I am always running Waze BTW.

Not at all the same thing. Waze's crowdsourcing, and ability to search Google, Yelp, and other sources in real time, means that maps are more current, POIs are more current and comprehensive, and road conditions (traffic, hazards, police) are far more current and also are available for far more roads.
I saw an example of that today taking my car to the dealership for the clicking brake issue. On the way there, I passed an accident that had one of the lanes in the other direction closed, which had traffic backed up for miles. Since this was not a highway, there was no traffic data in the PCM. So, on the return trip, the PCM was routing me right down that road and into that traffic, while Waze took me around the accident and all the traffic it created, saving me a ton of time even though the distance was a little longer.
Waze if like a DVR - before you use it, you don't get it. Afterwards, you can't stand to do without it.
