For the trips w/o a passenger, and if you have the 18-ways, if you set the passenger seat cushion extender just right, it holds the phone nice and snug in the crease.

Ha, ha! That's what I've been doing. It will stay nice and tight between the side bolster and the thigh extension. I don't think I have the 18 way seats though.

I saw an example of that today taking my car to the dealership for the clicking brake issue. On the way there, I passed an accident that had one of the lanes in the other direction closed, which had traffic backed up for miles. Since this was not a highway, there was no traffic data in the PCM. So, on the return trip, the PCM was routing me right down that road and into that traffic, while Waze took me around the accident and all the traffic it created, saving me a ton of time even though the distance was a little longer.

Waze if like a DVR - before you use it, you don't get it. Afterwards, you can't stand to do without it.
YES! My primary use of Waze is to be informed of speed traps. With laser jammers, a radar detector, Waze (and a bit of common sense) you will not see a speeding ticked in a long time.
Traffic on PCM is pathetic and Porsche should not rely on something as customer unfriendly and dated as Sirius XM. I am still using the PCM GPS most of the time but check on traffic information on Waze. I also think that Google Maps now complements its traffic information with Waze data since Waze has been acquired by Google

Some of my best trips have been to take care of un-wazed side roads out here. Not many left now sent with iOS using Rennlist (ps in no way do I endorse dynolicious..just been on there forever from a test. i dont personally use it.)

You are correct. If you go to Google Maps on your PC, and turn on traffic, you'll see various alerts on screen (assuming you're zoomed in enough but not to close), and if you click on them you'll see that many were submitted by Wazers.
