Angry estimate on this scratch / ding ?

Hi rennlisters... I am having a fairly bad week as far as cars go. I scuffed my C2S wheel and tyre rather badly (being fixed next week) and today somebody dinged/scratched the side of my car with their door!

Could anyone give an estimate on the cost to put this right? there is a definite dent along with some scraping.

Thanks!

I'm going to go out on a limb here and take a guess that they didn't leave a note.

UPDATE: The black stuff came off - thankfully that was someone elses paint (SUCKERS!) but now I'm left with a dent that is visible from an angle. Wondering how they fix that since its' not on the door panel.

Paintless dent removal, $75-150. You will most likely be left with a scratch, most or all of which you may be able to polish out. Clay, polish, wax... drive.

A good PDR guy can take care of that no problem for cheap. It's amazing what they can accomplish with the right tools and a little know-how.

A good paintless ding repair guy can remove that impression almost completely.
