Want to run the wiring for my V1 underneath the a-pillar and down to the fuse box next to the drivers left side.
It feels like it just pulls off...but don't want to break anything just in case there's another method.

No, and the folks at the other forum are advising not to pull the pillar cover off...I guess once you get it off its impossible to replace it to as new condition????

I removed mine to fix a buzzing sound I had coming from under the A-Pillar. Simpy pull out towards the rearview mirror and after the clips are loose, pull up to get the bottom out of the dash. The reinstallation is a bit tricky, but I don't see why you would have any issues doing this.

Also keep in mind that you don't have to pull the a-pillar trim off to get the wire underneath. I just used a plastic putty knife to push it under the headliner, under the a-pillar trim, and behind the edge of the dash. Once you have the wire under the dash, you can go behind the carpet and into the fuse box.

Bingo on the plastic putty knife or anything of the sort. A member named Limey940 posted a fantastic tutorial on this process back in 2012. Unfortunately, the pictures are no longer there making it nearly obsolete.
Slot D1 in your fusebox is great to piggy back off, if you don't have a rear wiper that is.
