Replaced the coolant shut off valve COV today. Hoping that will fix the problem. Order the part from Suncoast with wiring harness. Part#7PP906283F and SKU991WHAR

Yes, the COV part number is 7PP-906-283-F, but the COV Wiring Harness is 991-612-944-00. SKU991WHAR is Suncoast's internal part number, they mask Porsche #'s for obvious reasons.

Looks like it's reasonably accessible.

I’ve had PNA replace all 8 of them about 4 years ago. Now I had the warning twice since that time. None of the valves seem like they’re not working, so I’ve cleared the code and all seems good. Not sure what this could be.

I read this thread and I am still not sure what the issue is or if I am affected.

I have a 2012 C2 base without PSE with 54k miles, manual. Am I affected and do I still watch out for coolant issue and lack of heat?

A friend of mine just had this same problem with his 2016 GT3RS: "my car showed this warning sign 2 days ago so I took it to the dealership they cleared the warning the mechanic told me if my valve on my exhaust opening and closing which they are not I believe they stuck on open position he said you have not that side muffler delete got anything do with this problem but go change the it back and install your side mufflers and bring it back so we find out what is wrong with it since then I been reading about 991.1 from 2012 they have had what is called “ change over Valve “ problem there are 8 of these solenoids that control all vacuum system in these cars one of them is the one control the exhaust valves strange thing is when I use to open the valves via switch there was no Drone but now that valve are constantly open I have this bad drone and sound too loud at any speed and sound bad .

Unmasked....
https://www.porsche.com/usa/accessor...artscatalogue/

Scroll down, select 991 and your generation of car, and display/download.

You will get a nice chunky PDF of all of the parts that make up your car....

About to post the same question asking for part number but refreshed the thread and found the answer. Thanks!

I few of the rubber to hard vacuum lines became separated during swapping. Do I need to do anything to reseal or just stick it back in place as is?

I can't seem to find this specific answer in the thread, and either way, maybe someone can answer it again since the thread is getting pretty long.

Is the new wiring harness compatible with the old valves as well? For example, if you were only changing some of the COV's to the F-revision, can you leave other older COV's, or do you have to replace them all?
