Default Is it possible to add center locking wheels to 991C2S?

I know many of you have said center locking wheels are less practical, but I really love the looks of the 991 GT3 and 991 TTS center locking wheels. Is it possible for me to have my five-bolt converted to center locking so I can then buy the GT3 wheels?

Don't do it. If you really want 'em, sell the car and buy the GT3.

This guy found them such a hassle he switched over to 5 lugs. Everything he did you would do only in reverse.

You probably can, but it won't be cheap. You will have to change hubs, then buy new CL wheels.

A lot of people complain about CL wheels, but I have had them on my GTS for 2.5 years and never had any issues with them. I do not track the car however, so the additional maintenance items required for track use to not apply to me, and I don't change the wheels frequently. I can see how someone that tracks their car, or changes wheels frequently would not like them. I think they look great and the OEM CL wheels on my GTS are beautiful, forged wheels.

My dealer will meet or beat Tirerack prices, so I go there for tires, so no issues there for me either.

I have them on my GTS and I'd take 5 lugs any day! Pain in the a*s...not worth it...

It would cost $16,500 at NYC area dealer. I am considering doing the same thing.

Change to Center Locks? Why not just stab yourself instead. Just as painful but cheaper.
