Default The clock starts now

I was the guy who posted a few weeks back asking about waiting for the MY 2015 cars to come out. I'd like to thank everyone for talking some sense into me.

First time and future Porsche owner. I just put a deposit and order down today for a 991 50th Anniversary edition. Options include Geyser grey, 7MT, 18 way ***, led lights, houndstooth, Bose, pdcc and spasm, light design package, smoking package, passenger luggage net, online services. I think that was all.

Now I wait.

Richard

Sounds mighty fine. You'll be driving and smiling before anyone else who waited for the 2015 - isn't that what it's all about?

Beautiful car. Well done. And your first 911? Fantastic! May you find that the more - and harder- you drive it, the more you'll appreciate it. Congratulations!

Congrats Richard! You will love your car.
I am waiting for a Geyser car as well; the 18-way seats are fantastic - had them in my 08 C2S - most comfortable seats ever.
What, no sunroof?
Vancouver BC or WA?

Cheers,

Thanks. The wait is going to be tough.

Vancouver, BC.

No sunroof. I never use them.

Agree re: waiting - May seems so far away, esp when others are already enjoying theirs (whether on the road or indoors!).

Do you have a delivery date?

Not yet. My sales guy needs to confirm with Porsche Canada. I put the deposit down and ordered before the holidays, so he said probably in a week.

Just make sure they aren't jerking you around about having an allocation. My dealer took my pre-traded M3 as a deposit and left out the fact that they didn't have an allocation. I placed my order on September 1st. My car will be here mid-late February.
