Yesterday morning I got the email that I have been waiting for.

That my car arrived and was ready for pickup. Of course, keeping with tradition associated with this car purchase, there was a little snag.. They found that the aluminum on one of the doors had damages and that they will repair it once the replacement part comes in. I was only too happy to take it home even with the damage.. In addition, I noticed a few paint blemishes later that night when I took a closer look to take in the beauty of this amazing piece of machinery.

The blemishes I noticed, I am sure, they can just buffer out. To be safe though, I send them an email and took pictures to go on record. Its minor and at this point, I am just happy that it has arrived.

The weather yesterday was extremely cold, windy but glorious sunshine, so I took a few pictures to memorize the occasion.

PS: That boy in the picture is my son, who can't wait for me to drop him off at school with this car

Thanks Actually they match with the deviating stitching on the steering wheel, red seat belts and floor mats with red leather accents.

You drive your son to school? Looks like he's taken possession and will be driving you to work I don't blame him one bit - gorgeous color combination. Congrats!!! That's disappointing that you have damage and paint blemishes though - hope all of that gets corrected.

I know.. its a little downside.. but with all the trouble I had before that, with this dealership and the sale person, this is peanuts in comparison
I think being a woman and without company, really hurt my chances to be dealt with fairly in this deal.. but I have to take some credit/blame for this by not joining rennlist earlier and really educating myself. Many of the things would not have happened to me.. He smelled blood when he had a single female in front of him ready to buy a car outright.
But at this point, I will not let them win over and ruin the enjoyment this stunning car is giving me I am so happy with it, driving my car on its maiden voyage and pushing down on the accelerator , its truly exhilarating .. I just want to get the other parts fixed and move on enjoying to drive my amazing car. (which I refer to as my Grey Ghost)


Thanks There will be a lot more photos one its fixed. I plan to take a nice road-trip along the CA coastline .. What an amazing Christmas gift! I could not be happier :
