My 911 C4S Arrived
#20
In addition, I noticed a few paint blemishes later that night when I took a closer look to take in the beauty of this amazing piece of machinery.
The blemishes I noticed, I am sure, they can just buffer out. To be safe though, I send them an email and took pictures to go on record. Its minor and at this point, I am just happy that it has arrived.

Congrats on the great car.
One quick request, Explorer7, it looks like you have PDLS Plus. When you get a moment, would you mind taking a shot of the daytime running lights on those things? Thanks.

This concerns me a little bit. What panels are involved? You might want to consult a very high quality professional detailer in your area to look at the car first. I for one, would not want to turn my new car over to any dealership's car-wash-crew with a buffer and a bottle of compound.

1st:
On Top when I ran my fingers over it, it was a little rougher, and when you looked at the right angle in the light, this area had some sort of rubs or something on it. I imagine its from when the car was shipped over, I noticed a line too over the dark part between the glass roof and back window glass (tape residue stripe)
2nd.
On both back windows, where I have the aluminum trim, there is this break and it doesn't look as clean as I would hope.. (but maybe I am just to nit picky) How does your car look?
3rd:
Some markings.. I am sure they can buffer this out.. still, since I am mentioning what I noticed.. this was another thing. (location engine door)
4th:
This one the dealership noticed and wrote me about a few hours after I was notified the car was ready. Looks like the Aluminum was bent and or lifted? (location top of window/door)
What do you think? Normal (the break on the aluminum panel? and those blemishes, no big deal? I took detailed pictures just to capture it all. This car didn't have the best start.. but I think it had everything to do with the dealership, where not one thing went without a hitch I am at a point, where I just want them to fix this and drive off into the sunset.

Great option list
Since my last Porsche was a Cayenne TTS I don't know how the fit and finish on the new 991's
But I would have the trim pieces looked at for piece of mind
I am in the car biz and would not have a problem having a customer be concerned with that and the paint blemishes
remember the warranty covers it and the dealer gets paid if those trim pieces need to be replaced
Another dealer could address that as well
Don't settle if your not happy
You have a beautiful car that is for sure
