991 Magnetic Stone Guards
Just received my set of matte black stone guards from Magnagrafik (http://www.magnagrafik.com/). They slap on to the body panel quite securely and no adhesive to deal with. Only downside is security- so if you see my car in a parking lot please do not steal my stone guards. Thanks.

Tom, they look great ... I have been thinking about ordering a set for my white cab as the clear guards do not look so good as they age. Plus it will remind me of my old gran prix white 87 930.
Couple of questions ... how exact was the fitment of the magnetic guard over the existing plastic one?
Secondly, the maker has said it's a good idea to remove the magnetic ones if the car gets wet, something about the edges. I'm not sure if that's an issue if the guard is placed over the original clear guard or if it's on bare paint.

Yes, they apply over the clear guard and adhere firmly (up to 140 mph the website sez.)
Dan, the gentleman who makes them, sent me these prices:
Matte Black $64.95 set
Gloss Black. $79.95 set
Gloss Black with Porsche script in Red $79.95 set
Black Carbon Fiber $89.95 set
Gloss Martini style $79.95 set
Matte black would be the closest match to the traditional Porsche guard, as seen on the 930 and earlier 911s.

I hope parking spot 433 is your's too, otherwise parking like that over two spots is just asking for it. There are people out there who don't like us already, my car was keyed two weeks after I got it parked in an upscale shopping center's lot completely in a legit spot. Please don't give folks more ammo to hate Houston Porsche owners.

That looks great! I'm scheduled to have the front clear (XPEL) done next week Friday and was thinking of having the that rear body panel redone since my current is a little yellowish. This is nice and I may reconsider the clear and go with these black magnetic ones.

Three Wheelin'
Car looks fabulous with the stone guards. I wonder how they would look on my C2S with the Carrera Classic wheels, rather than the Sport Techno painted black.
