Not the perfect postcard scenery and not even captured with my dslr – but I still like to share these pictures of my new jalopy. Some details for a exchange. I have so much fun behind its steering wheel.

Nice shots, no need to apologize. I envy the opportunity you have with some really great roads. Have fun!

My dealer says he can't order one anymore. Does anyone know if all 1963 have been allocated?

A dealership in Denver has an open build allocation.

The 911-50 is truly a unique 911. I don't care about what anyone says about resale, etc. Anyone that buys one will have an exclusive edition that looks fantastic.

I got my delivery a few days ago. The 911-50 was standing in the showroom with cards "DO NOT TOUCH" on front and back. Dealer told me everyone was around the car and he had to do something. I thought it belongs to the show... but once in the streets, lots of people behaves as if it was the first time they were seeing a 911, with big eyes and pulling the arm of the next guy.

In my town, there's a LOT of Porsche, all kind of 930, 964, 993, 996, 997, 991, Boxster and Cayenne... Honestly the 911-50 is really something special right now. I was absolutely not expecting so much attention.

BTW congrats for you nice pictures...snow is getting closer.

Thanks, I'm in Netherlands

So some dealers have open allocations still, but if they are out they can't get new allocations from the factory anymore? Oh well.

I tried to order one too from my dealer. Sounds like they are about gone. Maybe a few left. I bet Porsche is glad to finally see them nearly sold out. It took several months.

That is what really keeps astonishing me - I also experience a lot of thumbs up due to the colour, especially on gas stations....

I am kind of hoping there will be a registry on these forums including date of delivery/number/color/options/location. Maybe the administrators will consider it.

I've just noticed a point with the 911-50: the car get the lower front lip either with PASM ou SPASM, that's not new. Now, the open rear "wing" position sits higher even on PASM cars.

This will not make my day, but it's interesting to know.
