Default Love the PSE!!!

I've had my C2S cab for only 10 days and am already addicted to the sport exhaust. Wow!
Interesting, I almost didnt get it. I'm too impulsive and impatient to order my cars, so when I get that bug, I buy off the lot. So in my search for my cab, it came down to two cars-- both were Guards red/black C2S cabs with pdk, sports chrono, prem packge+, and no power steering plus (all of my requirements). One had sport design wheel but no PSE, while the other had PSE but had standard steering wheel (with buttons). I chose the one with PSE, obviously. I'm really glad I did!! I love my PSE. (btw, my previous car had the buttons, and I got quite comfortable with them, and I use the manual shifter more anyway. And my car is a dd- 20K miles/year, never track).

PSE is phenomenal! I agree. It makes the car such a pleasure to drive. Who cares about any horsepower gains or how much it costs. If anyone disagrees with this, then they obviously don't have PSE or need to justify it to themselves that it was the right move not to get it.

EVERYONE WHO BUYS A 991 FROM NOW ON....GET PSE!!

Kyrocks-- I saw your thread on your beautiful red cab.
Funny, I didn't like the guards red on the 997's. But the guards red on the 991 is spectacular. I've seen the red on both the coupes and cabs, with black interiors and with luxor, and they're all stunning.

Been looking for an answer: Can I turn PSE On while in break-in period?
Didn't find anything on that in the manual or on the forum, I'm assuming it's ok?

Been wavering on adding PSE to my want/need 'buckets in my spec spreadsheet but after reading this moved PSE to 'need'

To OP: enjoy!

I bought a month ago from dealer stock and PSE wasn't on my must have list. However, the car that matched my specs had PSE so figured what the heck.

Now a month later I love it! Although I'm keeping the RPMs low (<4K) for the break-in I can tell that between 3k-4K the PSE sounds great. I can only imagine what its going to sound like at 6-7K.

I'm finding I'm always in Sport mode with PSE on! Always a smile on my face.

I added PSE after about a year of ownership. Just like getting a new car!

I recently found that it can be turned in in every mode: play it like an organ mode" (Sport +), "listen to the symphony" mode (Sport) even in the "I am headed to 7th before we get out of the parking lot" mode with stop start, "sailing" and 29mpg!
