Cheers Eduardo. These folks at Beachwood know I have the Spyder and naturally thought I would be interested. I was getting pinged 2 weeks before it arrived. Not sure one can have 2 Riviera Blue cars in the quiver...as beautiful as they are.
Still cold up here - excited to get the Spyder out in next 30 days (God willing and the creek don't rise!).
I saw it today. Really beautiful but the first thing I said was "why a glass sunroof in a PTS car?".
It's definitely a spec car. It was funny that Bruce Schwartz walked in to look at it right after i got there (the last owner of Stoddard's Imported Cars before the 5 to 2 pogrom in NE Ohio) to order a 981S from Brad today. They just decide to order the car. I said I would have skipped a sunroof and added the ducktail. But Bully for them.
It's still a great looking package @ $125k sticker.
Brad's a good guy. Likes the cars, doesn't just sell them, IMO.
Someone should grab it. The paint looks perfect. However, I did sit in it, so that may lower the value
This guy deserves serious kudos for ordering such a killer car on spec.
Surely some lucky guy will get turned on enough to buy and drive home what would normally be a months-long wait to get. Awesome!
Went to see it in person a few days ago. It's a Mexico Blue according to the salesperson. It looked good but not stunning and I didn't really like the duck tail. Anyway, they also have the "True Blue" Speedster and a "Lime Gold" Cab parked between it. That "Lime Gold" Cab looked pretty good.
This is the PTS color that actually took my breath away a few days ago while visiting 'Porsche Exclusive' at the factory! More about it when I post about my special two hour tour of 'Porsche Exclusive' in Zuffenhausen guided by none other than Dr. Tobias Donnevert (GM Customer Center - Customer Consultation & European Delivery Center) and Mr. Boris Apenbrink (GM Customer Center - Special Vehicles)!
I usually like the glass sunroof option myself, but in this case I agree that it doesn't look good at all. When speccing an unusual color like this, especially a light one, you need to go all in.

This green is a Lamborghini color. Definitely makes the 911 look like an exotic too...
