As you know, Porsche doesn't offer an extended warranty directly to a customer. Only dealers can add a CPO warranty on a 'used' car and they have to have ownership to do so! So you are left with warranties offered by 'third' parties. As others have said, it will be honored at most dealers and independent shops. They don't care who pays as long as someone settles with them at the end. But not all of these warranties are created equal, so read up on the subject and choose wisely.

See you soon.

Saludos,
Eduardo

I never had that problem in the past. I bought my Porsche at one dealership, and another dealership was more than happy to take care of a rattle. I'm certain that they billed Porsche for the work.

The Land Rover dealer right next to them however, not so much. I won't even buy one at another dealer because I would have only the local dealer for warranty work and they are horrible.
Yes Carousel took care of me fine even though I had no luck buying a car from them in 1999, but that is a long story. They were completely different last year and I bought my new S Cab from them. Maplewood also gave me great service on my 99. My new car has had zero problems so I have not been to the service dept. I will need rear tires soon.

No problem, although if I had purchased at the dealer I get service at I would get a porsche loaner and not a Mercedes loaner from their partnered Mercedes dealer. No big deal, good to change it up once in awhile.

Guys,

I am in the same boat. Do any of you have suggestions regarding New Jersey dealerships for service?

Thanks,

Naaranha
