Default Please post pictures of your track wheels

I like fairly light and reasonably priced 19" OZ superleggera HLT for track work. Anyone has pictures of these on the car? Any other track wheel pictures are welcome too! Thanks

Suggest you go with 18s instead of 19s....much more tire choice and much less expensive as well (plus, lighter).

Thanks for a suggestion, but I don't think 18's are going to clear the calipers. I do know that 18s would be cheaper an have more sizes available, but I believe that 18" wheel + tire would actually be heavier than 19" + tire, at least with R888s.

FYI, I could not mount Carrera IV 18 inch wheels (my winter setup) on my new 991 C4S...not enough clearance in the barrel.

And there is quite a bit of stuff in the barrel isn't there!

Very nice wheels! I believe the front 19x8.5 are only 16 lbs?

Mount Hamilton Road is a very nice drive except somewhat narrow.

The picture was taken at the Lick Observatory on top of Mt. Hamilton. It is a nice drive up the mountain.

The front is 16.5lbs, rear 19lbs. Please see my thread for more info.

Henry, that's a great post! How much was the whole setup from Tirerack? Also, did you have to call them to get the 19's? The website seems to only want to offer me 20's.

I purchased the set when Tirerack was having a 10% off for them, so I got a sweet deal. I did call them to get the 19", they will make sure you have the right offset for your car. I believe the 19" is pretty consistent among 997 and 991 models, as I found that it will also fit my GT3RS.
