Steve buddy, I am now totally out of the loop with 'Porsche Exclusive'! But I nominate 'Red Route 1' to help keep us all inform of what 'Porsche Exclusive' is up to!

'Red Route 1' is: 1) a current 991 customer; 2) He has had a positive experience with 'Porsche Exclusive'; 3) He has wisely chosen a beautiful PTS color for his vehicle; 4) 'Porsche Exclusive' should be grateful to help him put the word out on PAG's custom order program! Thus, I humbly nominate 'Red Route 1' to pick up the 'torch' I had to drop and carry it forward!

Saludos,
Eduardo

PS I might be driving shortly my new non-Porsche acquisition back from the East Coast and will pass right through the GREAT STATE OF TEXAS on my Southern 'avoid the snow' route! So maybe you and F4 Pilot can meet me and my wife for a roasted 'armadillo' sandwich lunch somewhere in the Lone Star Republic!

Aetna Blue is one of my favorite colors and I recently sold a 1960 356 coupe in this color. It orginally came with either light gray or red interior but I think you made a good choice with the espresso.

The Aetna Blue was sported by a famous moviestar, Sally Carrera.

It does look nice on the 991 tho.

Nah, 'Sally' is dressed in a metallic light blue. Aetna is a non-metallic color!

That's a beautiful color combo Red Route 1. The Etna and Espresso work really well together!

Woah! What a great interior. Really well chosen color combination and I love the wood as well. Very rich looking combination. Great taste you have.

Absolutely gorgeous interior! I've been refining my configuration (for months, now) and am getting ready to order an Aqua Blue C2S with Espresso interior. I definitely want the wood trim and yours is the first photo I've seen of that combination (Espresso w/wood).

A couple of questions for you:
  1. Is the wood trim in your car the Mahogany, as shown in the Configurator? The reason I ask is that the only other wood trim I've seen in a photo appeared to be much darker - more walnut than mahogany, which I fear would have insufficient contrast with the Espresso.
  2. Is the Espresso stick boot the result of a special order code, or is that a standard inclusion with the natural leather interior? I definitely don't want a black boot.
Thanks for any and all info!

I'd be very interested in which option you've clicked to get that stick boot in espresso as well!
Actually I've started a whole thread about this :

Guys, thanks for all the great feedback.

I've read the discussion on the boot color and my experience when custom ordering a 997.2 interior in carrera red, the boot was red. With the 991, again the boot arrived in espresso.... I didn't enter a special code in either case for that to happen. I did notice the onfigurator doesnt show the right color.

kbalch - yes, the wood is Mahagony and it has the expected reddish hue that works well with espesso. IMO it's a lot better looking than the Massakar they had in the past....
