Default Properly Protected Porsche 991 with ClearGuardX and Spectra PhotoSync

Spectra PhotoSync was recently introduced to North America and after beta testing this and ClearGuardX for almost 3 years, we have finally picked up on it exclusively since these products outperform others on the market.

Spectra PhotoSync Nano Tint:
98.5% of infrared rejection without affecting wireless signals!
Shade: 65% all around + 75% on the windshield

ClearGuardX
Coverage: full hood, full fenders, mirrors, lights, and front bumper

Do you have the SHGC for Spectra PhotoSync?

SHGC=Solar heat gain coefficient
The ratio of the total solar heat passing through a given window product relative to the solar heat incident on the projected window surface at normal solar incidence (i.e. perpendicular to the glazing surface). The lower the coefficient number for a particular window film/glass system, the better it is able to reduce heat.

Huper Optik has published SHGC as a function of tint strength for its ceramic tint, so I'd be interested in comparing those numbers for your product.

Thanks.

Yes we received a test report from the manufacturer and their 45% and 55% has SHGC at 0.30 and 0.31 respectively.

Spectra Photosync's performance from our tests also goes in line with their reported numbers. Here is a test we conducted:

Thanks!

For the 911 above, we applied Photosync 75% to the windshield. If you are referring something to protect the windshield, the manufacturer is undergoing a revision to their protective film due out in March 2013.

Back to Spectra Photosync.

98.5% of infrared rejection vs. ceramics at 70%-85% depending on brand. Conventional dyed window tint only has infrared rejection rating of 20%-30%, so this is quite significant in its performance over the products on the market.

Even on this shade of 65%, it will still block off 98.5% of infrared. No longer do you need to go with a dark tint to get exceptional heat rejection.

A shot of PhotoSync Nano Tint 65% on the rear glass. For a car like this, everyone deserves to get the best product on their car. Even at 65% with Spectra PhotoSync, it will block out an impressive 98.5% of infrared while most regular tints only obtain 20%-30%. Some of the more popular and well known ceramic products get 70%-80% Infrared block.

For those not in our area and interested in getting PhotoSync, please contact the manufacturer directly to see who in your area carries this product: vtran@prestige-films.com

All panels installed were done so via custom application. The customer opted to not use a pre-cut template and decided to go with our signature custom option so that we can perform every panel with the seams tucked and hidden wherever possible. Even the front bumper is done in one continuous piece without relief openings for this 991.

Here's the best test of a product's clarity. The film is on the front quarter panels and not on the doors......can't tell a difference especially with us tucking the film edge around
