Very nice. I was shopping for this solution, but found out my 2012 (991) with front & rear parking sensors won't work with this type of tow-bar mount solution (the sensor is where this goes and interferes with it).
Perhaps they have improved the front parking sensor placement in the 2013 models, I don't know.

Me too. Wonder if anyone tried to apply this solution to the 991: http://www.hidetheplate.com/.

What manufacturer did you use? I need to sort this out in a couple of weeks for sure now. Don't want to block the parking sensors. Decision point reached.

My salesman left the (I assume) Porsche-supplied front plate mount on the passenger seat for me when I picked up the car. It was in a cellophane package with the screws and everything included. It was utterly painless.

Wow. Ya'll really put a front plate on your car? I know it's the law in many states (as it is here in CA) but I guess I'm in the minority of just accepting the ticket if I get cited for it? IMHO, the car looks much better without it.

Texas also requires front plate. Just need to keep my front end out of view when Troopers are around.

hehe. I was afraid I'd have to drill, too. But the weird thing was, the screws provided went in perfectly, effortlessly. I used a tiny electric screwdriver with a phillips head attachment. The whole thing lined up and went in like butter. I was really impressed with Porsche's handling of the whole thing. It's like they knew we'd be all stressed about it and just made it work without any fuss.
