By the way, there is a stunning PTS .2 991 Targa 4S

that might interest some of you. It's at Porsche Centre
Calgary.

Interesting color combo! I'd like to see what it looks like all unwrapped
Curious if anyone knows the details on how the car will be getting here?
Got a notification from my dealer that the car shipped. Appears to be heading to Halifax, Canada which surprises me a little since I was expecting a route through the Panama Canal to get to San Diego.
Does anyone know what happens after Halifax to get to SoCal? Does it go Southward and around through the Canal? Does it go on a train?

It will be unloaded in Halifax & given
to expert Porsche rally drivers that,
through ice, sleet & snow, will get
it across Canada, then up north to
Alaska (per labor union contracts)
& then put in a ferry from Fairbanks
to Seattle!
In Seattle they hire young students
that can't easily find work to drive it
down to So. Ca. on Interstate 5!
PCNA is experimenting with saving money
on ship transportation & helping a slagging
Canadian economy. And the extra 'wear &
tear' on your new Porsche is said to be quite
'minimal'!
Or maybe they'll leave it on the boat past
Halifax (Canadian off-load), then on to
Davisville, Rhode Island; Jacksonville,
Florida, Houston, Texas; and then through
the Panama Canal to San Diego, California!
I still think the trans-Canada 'ice' route
would be the most beneficial for your
new Porsche! You don't have to worry
about an engine break-in after it arrives!
While on the subject of 'Maritime Blue', I just received these great photos
from our friend Lawrence Romanosky of Porsche Centre Calgary...
...on a PTS 'Maritime Blue' .1 991 gt3 RS they have just received for a client:
Some of the most interesting custom ordered PTS Porsches in Canada come from
this Alberta centre and I salute my fellow 'Canadians' for their leadership in PTS
at Porsche!
I had the pleasure today of seeing this car in person. It is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!! Congratulations to the new owner, a friend of mine!
Don't know if this is the place to ask, but is it possible to order the pepita fabric from Porsche? Or does somebody know of a source for the actual fabric? I would like the actual fabric and not something "close".

$8800 or so for custom front seats through CXX. For LWBs exclusive option (an aftermarket shop) has the inserts for $2k.

Thanks for the lead. Exclusive option is 2495.00 each for the inserts..... Looking for a lead for fabric to redo the 4ways in my car. So it's an option (no pun intended) but would love to get just the fabric.
QQ here on interior painted pieces. I seem to remember that through the Exclusive Program you can order Interior Painted pieces in a different exterior color compared to what the actual car is painted?
Does not show on the Configurator, but I seem to remember a couple of cars I have seen where this was done at the factory.
Is there a code for the Interior Package Painted in a different color? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Bud, our price is listed as a pair (upper and lower inserts for LWB) not per each side.
