Mahalo for the info. We are staying at high end hotels between Leipzig and Montalcino, and will be parked at a villa in the Val d'Orcia for 5 weeks. The roads in that valley are epic. I emailed Sandro about a reservation and options on a Macan front end- it is really intricate with multiple openings/vents.
Have not planned the exit strategy yet, but here is the drive: http://tinyurl.com/y75z5r8p

Any risk of Customs taking off the PPF as not part of the exported product?

Great spec! Great itinerary too. Just be careful if you're parking the car on the street during the day.

Unlikely but within the range of possibility. Customs is unlikely to know -- or care -- that the PPF isn't OEM. The hotel towels I used to protect the rear alcantara from the baby seat were still in the frunk FWIW.

Default Road trip from Atlanta

I am finally picking up my targa in Atlanta on July 25 then going to savanna for one night then charleston for 2 nights then off to duck North Carolina for two nights before heading back to philly. Does anyone have good restaurant recommendations in any of these places. Thanks in advance if you do.

Savannah - Planters Tavern is a great bar underneath (underground) The Olde Pink House. Very cool place for a drink, and the food in The Olde Pink House is excellent southern. Check it out on Trip Advisor etc.

I have read this entire thread and want to say thank you to all, but especially to Eduardo aka Z356. So far my process has been very smooth from both the dealer and exclusive perspective. Everyone has been great.
