Does PTS pricing vary depending upon which 911 version you are ordering?
From what I can tell it depends on the model but I could be way wrong here. I just want to see current approved list of colors which are feasible for the 911.
Pricing is per configurator. Price for all 911s I believe is the same. The current list is available from your dealer, but is no longer circulated per Porsche policy.
Curious has the 'Rear Center Tunnel Stitching in Deviated Thread' changed for MY17+?
I can't seem to find a single 2017 where the rear storage thing is lined in deviated stitching. The 2017's are just a plastic tray.
Examples:
Here is a 2015:
Here is a 2017:
There has been no change to the content of option XHS; Rear Center Tunnel in Leather with Decorative Stitching. The first example you provided also includes additional option CXN; Extended Interior Package Rear in Leather:
New to the forum, thanks for reading my question. Planning on ordering a 991.2 this June when my wife and I pick up her new Macan at the Experience Center.
I have been obsessed with the configurator, and the two tone interiors. I have noticed that you cannot configure a two tone leather interior with deviated leather seat inserts for 2018 (USA site). Does anyone know if this is a configuration error that a dealer configurator can override? I am trying to avoid the denim stains on chalk leather by doing graphite blue inserts.

My guess is you would have to request it through your dealer as a CXX request through PE. And it may delay your build for weeks to months.
If it is approved, don't be surprised if it's a little more $ than you might guess. When I ordered my Targa, deviated stitching/steering wheel had been removed from the Configurator (it had been an eye popping $1100 to change the color of the thread prior to that). I was told if I still wanted it, it would now be $4750. I am not getting deviated stitching on the steering wheel.
Good luck.
I have a Pts and a Lts Targa s coming in July at Pec. I have been waiting for a year for it. Allocation and extra time for leather and color. Can't wait

Good luck. Post photos as soon as you get them!
On a separate note, I am flying out to Germany tomorrow &
'Porsche Exclusive' has scheduled a 'normal' factory tour on
April 18th for me. The meetings I requested with executives
that run PTS at PAG was denied. And because the 'Exclusive'
customer consultation area and the vehicle delivery hall have
been recently demolished due to the construction of the Mission
E factory, they couldn't arrange for me to see of the 'Exclusive'
executives like I have done in the past:
1) So, I guess ED at Zuffenhausen is out.
Any news on when it's back?
Here is the official statement from PAG on this subject:
Temporary closure of the European Delivery, Exclusive Customer
Consultation and Selection Shop Zuffenhausen departments in
Zuffenhausen Extensive building work is required at the Porsche
headquarters in Zuffenhausen to accommodate the new production
facilities being developed for the Porsche Mission E vehicle.
For this reason, the European Delivery department, Exclusive
Customer Consultation department and the Porsche Selection
Shop in Zuffenhausen will be closed to the public until the first
quarter of 2018.
European Delivery in Leipzig will continue to operate as normal
during this period. Exclusive Customer Consultations with the
Personal Design in Zuffenhausen will still be possible via telephone
or email. Please be aware that this does not affect Exclusive
Customer Consultations in the United States. The Selection
Shops at the Weissach and Ludwigsburg sites and the Porsche
Online Shop at www.porsche.com/shop will still be available.

Nope. I am actually thinking, when I get back to the States
in early May, to try to get a Ferrari 458 Italia or Spider. I am
a little disappointed with the direction PAG/PCNA is going &
how they & their dealers are treating their loyal customers.
If I am going to be treated just as a 'number', I might as well
go to the masters at that game....the Prancing Horse folks!
So although I will not be bringing back anything with four
wheels, I will be in the lookout for some 'serious' gold jewelry
on this European trip to compete with my fellow 'Tifosis'.
I already own a fairly hairy chest...so I am good there!
...and a younger trophy wife. But don't tell my wife about the
jewelry, she doesn't like me to spend money on superfluous things.
Re: the trophy wife, she might be more willing to let me try & see
how that works out for me. Unlike me, she really doesn't believe
in miracles. It's my early Catholic upbringing that always gives me
hope.

Eduardo, you may be in luck. Seems like only dudes notice
Porsche's. Ferrari's are chick magnets.
Yes, that is what everybody says. But for me, with 44 years
devoted to our Porsche culture, it will be a difficult transition.
For example, I looked at the photos you posted & all I could
think was the damage those cars might be experiencing with
all those women leaning & seating on them! Christ, that
'Rosso' leather door panel is going to get scuffed with those
pointed 'Manolos'.
When looking at all of those photos, all I could think about was
what would be the most appropriate Griot product to use after
we got all of those 'hussies' off the cars!
So you see what I mean, I got a long way to go before I truly
get comfortable in the brave new world of Ferrari!

Would be curious on hearing the details. Not sure you want to post here or send by email/PM sometime?

All I could come up with was a "Blahnik" stare.
Good to see you post! Have a fun, safe trip.
I'm still at mid-July for delivery.
