"a little more hp, and hopefully torque" : how could that be bad?

I will be happy with no more torque, but a broadening of the torque curve, like the previous X51 engine.

I think I would side step this and just get a turbo. Hard to feel an 8 percent power boost on the street.

As a community service, I volunteer to settle the issue. Wire me money and I will have the conversion done and report back.

No one has driven a 991 turbo outside the factory. But I owned 2 different 997 turbos and they would spank my 2012 991S in a straight line. Does that count? I am sure the 991 turbo will be faster than a 997 turbo. And I am putting my money where my mouth is. I will get one of the first my dealer gets.

I have been modifing HP cars since I was 17 and I have never been able to feel anything less than a 20 percent increase in power on the street. 8 percent on the street is a waste IMHO.

Nice try, but you and I both know I was referring directly to a 911 with the power kit...

I had my 997 C4S retrofitted with the power kit. It was not a night and day difference, but it was noticeable and very evident. DO you have any experience with the power kit from Porsche on a 911?
