Regular PASM is not an option on Carrera S. Does it mean Carrera S already is on PASM?
Yes PASM is standard on S.

A couple of thoughts. Lowering is good if not overdone- as it will cause changes in the rest of the suspension parameters that one might not like. Camber and caster are readily adjustable, and so when lowering is done, an alignment is well worth doing to get the handling/steering/tire wear parameters that are desired. The factory Sport PASM also includes stiffer roll bars and all settings are optimized for what the factory thought was ideal with the spring rates of its shorter springs. The overall package is very well done for mostly street driving in my opinion.

No magic here- the competant aftermarket can do as well, but all the parameters are worth looking into- not just price. It used to be that lowering induced bump steer and if overdone required relocating suspension pickup points to reduce the degregation in handling that it caused (including very large steer wheel and suspension movements that some folks confuse with handling)- I have no idea if that is an issue with the new suspensions.

I have a sport PASM c4s, it's a real step up in taught handling compared with my 997.1 turbo. It's not too harsh and the chin doesn't scrape as much as the turbo.

I'm going to get the 5mm spacers. Probably will wait until michelins are available, I hate p-rossos.

By the way, the rev matching w the manual trans is truly awesome.

A couple of questions for the people that got the adptec spacers. Is the center bore 71.6? Also, do their kits come with the new lug nuts? I couldn't find the info on the site. I'm thinking of getting 7/14 for my ordered 4s. TIA.

Did anyone ever fit any spacers larger than 5mm on their cars?
Mine came with the 5's, but saw that H&R has 14's....just would like to confirm no fender rub or if any other options.
Thanks!

Did you have to get a wheel alignment after you installed them?
