Get Goth or Steam-Punk. Sorry if you do not understand the analogy!

In white it looks a bit like Shamu.

I may be older than you but I'm not brain dead yet.......I get it! It's typing, obviously, that I have trouble with.

A few disappointments:

1. No good seat options as sport buckets are no longer on the option list or any seat with harness pass throughs.
2. No ability to get dynamic engine mounts without the wart on the dash as PDEM is now part of the Sport Chrono.
3. No option for painted exterior warts (headlight washers)
4. No option for wheels under 20" on the Carrera S

The German and Dutch C2S configurators show a fourth wheel option (5 spoke 20" Sport Techno), permit PCCB's , and give you "Decorative side strips with 'Carrera'/'Carrera S' logo in Meteor Grey Metallic and accent stripes in Black, Red, Silver or Yellow"...

What if someone wants to order 19" for Carrera S models? The 20" just looks UGLY and makes the brakes look tiny in comparison.

Actually by 45, and that's in kilos, so the 991 is 90lbs lighter!

Does anyone know if there's anymore room in the rear seats since the wheelbase was extended a bit?

I don't mind the standard 10 spoke wheels other than they are 20". The 2 wheel options are both hideous.

I am not much in fond of ANY of them, but more importantly, I want to *downgrade* to 19 if I ever ordered one and currently you cannot do that!

Maybe I should keep my Carrera Sports, still (outside of GT3 wheels), the BEST looking Porsche wheels.

With a new model change over, the early version of the configurator has a limited option selection. It was the same way with the 997.1 and the 997.2.

Agreed, but as someone else pointed out, as time passes we will likely see more options. Another thing currently missing are Crests Headrest.

Unfortunately as you pointed out we are probably stuck with the 20" wheels. I'd also like to see 305mms (OEM) out back. We used to be to get those with the XRR wheels.

Regardless, I am keeping my .2 gt3 until the details evolve on the 991 3/RS.

Cool

Still, and as always, whether Porsche makes it for NA or not, or doesn't make it at all, you can still have it. All it takes is money... as always. The configurator is for those who do not know the possibilities, perhaps have no imagination, or don't care what other possibilities are out there. You just have to ask for it.

It's a wonderful company to work with when it comes to getting what you want. And just because the salesman says it's not available, doesn't really mean it is not available. It just means he lives in a very small box.

The only interior color I can select is black? Anyone else have the same problem.
