No 991 for me. I am happy w/ my current ones and more importantly I have to save for my 50th b'day present (which is just short of a decade from now) ... a 356 cabrio (may be even a speedster if I win a lottery)... Gotta experience what the 356 are all about right. I don't mind letting go my 997 whwn Mike wants to offload his used 991 GT3.

Seems a lot of 997 owners are sticking with their current rides... what about the rest of you guys?

What do you have now and which model 991 would ya get?

Cheers!

Sid.

09 C2S cab now, like computers, I will always upgrade to the latest, so will definitely consider when it's out. My dealer said they will have demo cars in January.

Chris Harris says the new 991 handles more like a Cayman now in Excellence magazine. I don't wan't my 911 to handle like a Cayman, that is the point of getting one. If I want handling like a Cayman, I am going to save a lot of money by buying a Cayman.

Driving a 2011 Turbo S. I have no interest in the 991 until the turbo 991.

Have had the 997 since '05-love it. Found an one-owner '71 with 18k (barn find)-thinking I would love that too. Along comes the 991 dilemma. My trifecta would be more reasonable had I not started to run out of garage space. I am a troubled man with an incurable sickness.

I like my 911's aircooled so no 991 for me. I do have some money burning a hole in my pocket. Probably buy some more real estate or another classic Porsche.

997 C2. I'll wait to see the 991 GT3RS and then decide if I want to spec one or by a used 997 GT3RS (which will be ridiculously good value the way they are depreciating...)

Currently 2011 GTS, probably going to sell it for a 991S.

Currently have a 993 C2S. Would love to have a 991...in addition to, not in exchange for. I think the new car looks great, and if it handles more nimbly than the 997.2's I drove last summer, all the better.

I have the 997.2 Cab and not in a hurry to get the 991 until I see it and drive it. Probably will go for a 2014 after the usual bugs get fixed. At least I will know the quirks of the instrument cluster also having the Cayenne and Panamera. Just don't like an electronic parking brake with a manual transmission.

I have a R.R Evoque, Mini Cooper S, Lotus Elise. (What?? I have 3 British cars? How the hell did that happen?)

Anyway, the 991 is on my radar for 2014 when they start showing up used.
