ac is cold. i can hear the fans change speed

air only trickles out of the vents at any setting. so the car is boiling inside

I have a disgustingly expensive box of designer chocolate in the car for my pregnant wife and it’s melting. 2 hours from home

came on slowly. like it just dwindled until it wasnt blowing

Can you use the manual controls to route the air out the floor and dash defrost Outlets? Temp fix, maybe?

if so, set the chocolate on the passenger floor near the outlets. Happy wife, happy life applies more than ever in the pregnacy.

none of the buttons affect the flow.

if i had to guess i have a stuck damper. maybe ill disconnect the battery for a while

Your title is misleading. You said vents blocked then you said my solution to direct to other vents would not work as it was the flow, not the vents. Good luck.

I am pretty sure a failed change over valve will cause this.

so nothing I did would restore any kind of airflow to any vents.

I disconnected the battery and let the car sit for a couple minutes.

Fortunately I had an ice chest I remembered and I was able to save the chocolate which is the most important thing here.

When I started messing with it again I turned the AC off and just the fans on high and I still didn’t get any airflow but I left it like that because I was tired of messing with it.

Suddenly started blowing high speed just a ton of incredibly humid air.

I let it run until the air dry and the air conditioner again.

And now the air conditioner seems to be working normally.

edit: pulled codes top one does seem to coincide with cov problems
