never really liked the bubbly look of the base but absolutely die when I see an rs. So decided to buy a 911 and convert the body and do some minor engine modifications.

basically starting this thread for documentation purposes. And hopefully get help from the community if I run into any issues.

ordered all the parts to start. Will take some time to arrive

hi, I was wondering if you got the DRLs figured out?

You code out the spoiler with a ThinkDiag device for ~$100

Nice project... I recently finished my Turbo S project, that was converted to GT3 RS... to GT2 RS. I used all OEM parts (bumpers, ducts etc...) because I did not want to deal with fitment issues. Took me a while to source it all, and it cost an arm and a leg... but everything bolted on so easy... Also, since I really didn't want GT2 RS logo's anywhere, I had the lip logo filled up and then painted all matte black.

Great job on tackling your project though. Looks pretty good so far!

Wow. This looks amazing. We need some "fire" emojis on this forum.

I have not yet. Recently just leave it on the on position and I get no cel. But will probably start ordering resistors and trying each one out till cel is gone.

trying to figure out high break light cel currently.

Just get a PIWIS3... it's fairly cheap on this forum... then you can code it out and do all kinds of ****.

You are missing the top carbon fiber trim piece that goes on top of the center opening.

I have one for sale if you are interested to complete the look of your GT2RS conversion.

Here are pictures.

I know. I couldn't find just that piece, and wasn't going to go all out on the whole "Smiley" mesh and bracket as i already had that. How much are you asking for it?

Interesting, didn't realize the 2RS had that part. The GT3 doesn't.

Also, I don't like the OE GT grill color, meteor grey, on all exterior colors. On my car, I painted them black, otherwise against GT Silver they almost look body-matched.
