Looking into my first Porsche

Looking into my first Porsche
Hi folks, im looking to get into my first porsche: a 2013 c2s manual, currently sitting at about 62k miles. Ask is 73k USD and car is CPO till Jan 24.
Apologies if these come across as not so smart questions, but trying to make the right call here:
1. Is the price fair?
2. should I still get an independent ppi even if the car is cpo?
3. I pulled the carfax and the car has minor damage on the rear, everything else looks good (has 24 service records). Anything else I should look out for?
Thanks for all the help!
Car has the following mods:
soul long tube headers w/cats
numeric shifter
991.2 gt steering wheel sport chrono
function-first shift ****
yokohama advan apex wheel (20")
Car comes with the following options:
022 Instrument dials in black
030 PASM sport suspension
176 sport exhaust system
1H platinum silver metallic
346 steering wheel heating
423 20" carerra s wheel
425 read windshield wiper
446 wheel center caps with colored porsche crest
487 7 speed manual transmission
509 fire extinguisher
636 parkassist (front and rear)
640 sport chrono package
653 sunroof in glass
672 navigation module
686 siriusxm
844 multifunction steering wheel
CG platinum grey standard interior
P06 power sports sears 14-way
P39 premium package plus
XSX seat belts in guards red
XUB headlight cleaning system cover painted exterior color.

Looks like the price is fair. Would get a ppi. Between the soul headers, numeric shifter and updated steering wheel there are a few thousand dollars of upgrades that would be nice to have anyway.
Your ppi should be able to tell you just how minor the incident on the carfax is.

With Soul long tube headers and soul cats, it’s not supposed to be Porsche CPO…. At all. If you buy it and get a check engine light or a ready flag not set….and go to the dealer….Porsche won’t cover it. The shifter is nice too, but that’s something I doubt Porsche will address if you have the original OEM cables with the plastic end caps, which can break. It’s also probably got a tune and no way in hell will Porsche honor any warranty with an aftermarket tune. So keep all of this in mind. It’s a nice build but it’ll be a pissing contest if you need a warranty claim.

Porsches are generally really reliable, but you never know how the previous owner cared for it. Do not scrimp on a PPI because it can save you a lot of heartache later. It’s good that the car was previously CPO, but you don’t know what happened in the past 24 months. Get a overrev report as part of the PPI especially since it’s a manual car. I suspect the mods were done after the CPO certification because those type of mods have to be replaced for CPO…pretty sure. Likely the car would not meet CPO requirements as it sits today.

And a receipt for the repair hard pass. To many of these are being put back together from pieces.
On any car get a PPI done by an independent shop. CPO has very little meaning as dealerships in N America are generally not trustworthy.

Three Wheelin'
if it has all the things you want and you've driven it and love it, get a PPI and go for it.

Its overpriced, wreck on Carfax is diminshed value, most wouldn't eve consider. The right price is $59K and that only because of the manual transmission, without it would be $54K or lower. Keep looking....CPO IS NOT NEW CAR WARRANTY. It only covers major issues, wear, slop, delimitation will not be covered.

Anytime you can find a well optioned .1 Manual is great, like others have said you have very little time before CPO expires and I wouldn't factor CPO into pricing. I can share a couple of stories about my previous So called CPO 991 cars, dealerships aren't doing their due diligence, not for a very long time.
Mileage is high for you to be able to get Fidelity as a reasonable rate, but I would say still protect it for 3 yrs at least.
As for the car itself, its a great find, a Manual 991.1 3.8 car with Sport-PASM, PSE and almost $5K in very critical mods,( heck Soul Headers alone are almost $5K now) I say its a fair deal at the very least. (mileage is high but if you plan to drive it and not baby it, its the perfect candidate)
Given those mods, it came from an enthusiast so make sure to check Over Rev report, do not trust one from last week or last month, get one the day you are picking it up, make it part of the deal. With that Numeric shifter, a tech can over rev the car on a routine test drive.
Good luck

Without even looking at it that sounds really high priced to me, for the miles, accident history and the CPO at this in time (1.5 months left or so?) has almost no value for you as a buyer.
My advice would be to not get in a hurry and keep looking, they made thousands of these things.

Like others have stated it does not sound like a good deal. A quick search on Cars.com and Autotrader comes back with limited comparables, but being patient will pay off big time... I would think you could find something similar in the low to mid 60's if you're patient

Price seems fair to me, 62kmiles is in the higher range but nothing to worry about if the car has properly maintained/cared for, 991 age very well and this should not be a blocker for the purchase.
Since you have 24 service records, I suppose maintenance has not been skipped.
This car seems very well optioned, with Sport Chrono + PASM + PSE, you have most of the desirable options you could find on a GTS configuration (without the powerkit). I would say it is a bit rare to see a S with these 3 options altogether.
Glassroof, premium package are desirable in my book.
Other mods seem tasteful, if everything else checks out, go for it.
