What kind of person does this

Agreed, but I have way more to lose than that sad sack of poop...and you never know who's carrying these days in the great state of Virginia. That would've just cost more time and money in the long run.

Would anyone here feel different if it was a girl that did it?

What drives me crazy is that I have a concealed weapon permit and if that guy came at me that way…I shoot him and not I am the bad guy. He has a family, etc.
people are stupid and have no clue what could happen. You could be a trained mma fighter and what the heck would he do then.

agreed, that’s really the only takeaway from this. You never know when you’re going to run into someone who has a complete meltdown over not being able to do whatever the hell they want.

(I am one of those people)
But I am still more inclined to de-escalate or avoid if at all possible. From your video, it appears as though you handled this as well as you could under the circumstances.
You are clearly more mature than that clown.

TBH - it looks like you should have just let him in and make the turn as he seemed to be going slow enough and had his blinker on. As well, you should not have flipped him off either; sometimes you get stuck in a lane or whatever and need someone to give you a break.
Now, he was clearly an a-hole, as many people nowadays are on the road for doing what he did, but again you could've chilled, let him in, not bird him and avoided it. Like you said, not worth it these days to incite nor engage with these Neanderthals; especially when driving a 911.

I agree, the finger is a thing of the past for me...but I'm comfortable with how I handled it all in all, you have the luxury of Monday morning Qb'ing...some people just suck like you said. Also, if you can't handle a middle finger because you're acting like a jackass on the road, I'm sorry but you have bigger issues to worry about and I'm not your problem.

Might have been fun just to lose him in some twisty/turning roads just for sport. "Porsche...there is no substitute."
