991.1 Rear Splitters / Skirts installed - pics
Hi All,
For those of you who don't know me, I've been an active contributor and sponsor on Rennlist since 2013 (initially under user Emc2 and then Emc2design when we added a sponsor account). You can see my full list of DIY's linked at the end of this post for reference.
Although most of my activity has been in the 997, Cayenne and Panamera forums, a lot of my inspiration and DIY's are centered around 991 design and components.
I'm therefore very pleased to announce first on Rennlist that we are now finally launching our direct bolt on rear splitters for the 991.1 narrow and wide-body vehicles.
These parts are designed to match and compliment the 991 OEM front spoiler options as well as the side skirts. They are super robust and proven in the field as we have had them installed in the 997 version of the product for over 4.5 years.

Thank you
@99SevenFan thank you - first batch is expected in 2 weeks from now.
@koala thank - you - they can also help prevent further road rash as they catch a good bit of the debris that gets thrown up by the tires.

Rear Skirts/Splitters
We'll be posting the install video for the rear skirts this week.
Side Skirts
These are OEM Porsche 991 side skirts (for wide body vehicles) that you see on the narrow body vehicle at the beginning of this thread. The parts were modified to fit the Narrow Body vehicle.
There are already of lot of great DIY's on how to install these on a NB vehicle (links below), and for those who have WB vehicles they are plug and play.
Part numbers (Sill cover trim for door sill.):

I've also included my DIY thread below from 2017 when I modified these same side skirts to fit the 997 (the same principles apply except the job is way easier on a 991).

Below is a great thread with several DIY's on 991's (I strongly suggest reading the entire thread to see the different approaches and options):991504596031E0

Rear Splitters 991.1 vs 991.2
Unfortunately the 991.2 bumper has completely different geometry, not to mention the added vent opening. These types of bumper changes are very typical of Porsche for all model evolutions.
For those who've been asking; as a result the 991.1 rear splitters will not work on the .2. For reference even the narrow and wide body 991.1 versions have very significant geometry differences even though to the naked eye they appear very similar.
However as we did with the 997 series we did develop multiple designs to fit the various bumpers, .1 and .2 (as well as narrow vs wide body).
Please do stay tuned for updates on the .2 version later this year.
Side Skirts 991.1 & 991.2 @Tier1Terrier please see post #12 above https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1332...l#post18575325

@Emc2design So am I understanding correctly that the side skirts shown in the picture at the top of this thread (blue 991.1 C2S NB) are actually made for the wide body (plug and play) but modified to fit that vehicle in the photo? (similarly to what's been done on other threads)?
