Mileage remorse
2018 GTS bought as a DD in Oct of 2021 with 14k miles. Just blew past 28k last week. I have loved every single 14k miles that I have put on the car but damn the miles are piling up. I have the Rennsport event in a few weeks and that will add an another 2k in less than a week..
Should I just suck it up and keep driving?? At what point does the mileage really start affecting the value of the car?
I am not looking to sell it anytime soon so that may be my answer! But thought I would ask the RL.

Suck it up.
The car will only depreciate with miles.
If you bought the car as an investment, better realize sooner rather than later that you ****ed up. The vast majority of cars do not increase in value over time, regardless of condition.
Drive it. It's a car, that's what they're deigned to do. If you want to collect things, look for another hobby.

High mile 911s are generally nothing to be afraid of, there will always be a market for this car.
If and when you want to trade up, the depreciation won't fall off a cliff quite like a high-mile MB/BMW/Audi saloon or SUV.

Nailed it, might as well enjoy it. I don't understand the buying cars as an investment... other than hypercars/classics. if you are worried about resale than you can't afford the car. (my opinion)

I'm going to share a story of regret.
I bought a Lotus S260 Sport #24 of #25 in USA back in 2010.
I put 5,800 miles on it before I sold it for a $16,000 profit in 2012. (yes that was a lot back than)
I regret SELLING this car everyday... and that I did not drive it more

With covid and WFH - I have no where to go for the past 2.5 yrs.
Would I have enjoyed driving -- or -- having it parked in the garage collecting dust ....

Wondering why you bought the car in the first place.
You could keep it in the garage for the next 10 years and just polish and wax it.
and admire it.
Then you can sell it with low miles and still not get what you paid for it.

I bought it to drive hence the milage so far. And like yall said already past a low milage collector car and did not buy it for that reason although I could make some good coin if I sold it now.. So screw it, will pile the miles on it. Just wanted some good biased opinions!!!
