I ordered the race tex a few months ago and Suncoast said back ordered until Sept a few weeks ago. Maybe that has changed. I think the price is the same as leather.
Thanks. I believe the race tex would look better than the leather. I guess Ill just wait until it becomes available again. I hate all the aluminum silver, blinds me when driving.

Same boat here. And yes, I checked website today and saw it says backordered til 2023 now. Oh well. I dont mind waiting so long I get one some day.
no convincing needed here! Ill get it right now but looks well have to wait until 2023. That looks really good. Looks like you went with race tex? How does the steering wheel feel? And do you really need racing gloves with it? Been looking into some racing gloves as well since my steering wheel is leather and I want a softer feel.
okay! I want racing gloves now haha. What brand do you have and how do you like them?

Also comes in fingerless, but I find that moot especially if you have an Alcantara steering wheel where you're trying to keep your sweat and oils off the steering wheel.
Initially, I had my doubts on whether I should spent so much on a pair of driving gloves. But my concerns were unfounded.
It's very thin, very well made, very comfortable with no fray or uneven stitching inside and out. Most importantly, they are not hot or stuffy at all. Summer is well and truly blazing here in Japan and I have no problems wearing them for long drives.
They fit true to size, they don't stretch like leather, so you need to make sure you order them in the right size.

Just installed the "GT3" style **** and boot kit from Suncoast in my newly acquired T. Pretty easy as I'd done it before on my TTS coupe I sold my son. Dresses up the interior and gets rid of the plastic shift surround I've never liked. Suncoast kit comes with the small trim piece for the flasher/door lock switches.
Is your T that you installed this kit on a 991.2? Thanks
Found mine for my 991.2 used on eBay for considerably less than new. A bonus is the Carrera tag as it came off a manual 991.1. I purchased the button trim piece from Suncoast. If purchasing used make certain the clips aren't broken.

Wow I had not considered just buying the manual boot and **** for the 991.2 and swapping. I dont like the PDK shifter very much, so I wonder if it would be possible to convert the manual **** **** to work on the PDK hmmm
